@ReadytoRunRC yes amazing little thing not in any kind of wind though or goodbye little fun drone , wish I could sort the wires on tiny plugs goto be careful pulling plugs out of drone can loosen wires after many times and mine won't connect or charge if could get some replacement battery I'd be happy 30 £ for hours of fun even though batteries like 5 min each

@@509Glock22 the difference is the c24 has a pickup bed in the back and the C14 has a flat bed with the spare tire. That’s it.

@@Shreddylife valid concern. I have had no issues running 3S with mine. Just keep an eye on temp’s especially if you’re running in grass or have it geared up a little. I mostly run on my dirt track. Gets a little warm but I’m also geared a little higher too. If you’re planning on running stock gear sizes then I wouldn’t worry as much. Not saying running 3S is the right thing to do. Just saying I haven’t had any issues.

@@ReadytoRunRC Yeah that is what I kinda figured. The nice thing is if we do end up burning up the motor on 3S they are not too expensive to replace lol I wonder what other motors we can run that is designed for offroad 1/10 scale 3S with this 85A ESC? Oh also, How many packs have you gone through on 3S do you think? Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it!

@@ReadytoRunRC Oh also! With the programming card you can turn the punch up to 5 and it helps get some more low end power with the 2S packs! 😀 It might get the motor a bit hotter on 3S though but I am not too sure?

@@Shreddylife I’ve gone through 4 battery packs on 3S so far. I haven’t ran it lately because the stock junk Spektrum servo burned out. They don’t usually last too long and is something that almost always needs replaced right away.

@@Shreddylife that is true with turning the punch up but I will probably just keep it at the stock setting.

@@MrDrucklos they stop if you aren’t throttling it in any direction.

They stop briefly when I'm not doing anything and the vehicle is stationary. I switch the vehicle on. Then the propellers start running, stop briefly, keep running, stop briefly, etc. Is that okay? Unfortunately I can't post a video.

@@ReadytoRunRC I have not installed wheels yet. I’m going to disassemble and inspect it. I did trim my “C’s” and may have a plastic shaving in there.

I disassembled the axle (front) and there is no debris. I cleaned and lubed everything (dab of Lucas red tacky to gears, Bones speed cream to bearings) I noticed the inner shaft end was un finished (not machined at the end where the flats engage the bull gear). I have been cleaning it up slowly with a diamond hone, and now the drive spins smoothly, there is still steering resistance, if I remove the o-ring that goes away and I can feel slight (good) endplay. Do I need to retain the oring? Seems it is there just to retain the pin collar, but if my tolerances are this tight, is there any reason to keep it (lube retention)?

@@ReadytoRunRC BTW, not worried about having to do some fitment to make stuff work. My worry is I may file too much off the shaft so it doesn’t engage my bull gear (ring gear). Not sure how deep it needs to be to operate reliably.

@@ReadytoRunRC next problem is a tight new 3.3 engine and weak old nicad ez start battery can't spin it fast enough to start before voltage drops too much.

Wasn't the engine or battery. Bad ez start motor connectors. Confirmed with clips directly to a battery, then soldered wires directly to motor tabs. I recall having starting problems for months before I put the truck away.

@@gecho194 that was the issue with mine. Wasn’t properly broken in yet and the tight motor just made it impossible to start. I would go through battery pack after battery pack and got sick of it so that’s why I put the pull start on. Glad you found your issue.

@@ReadytoRunRC turns out the motor wires weren't the issue it was two other things. A broken glow plug wire that made intermittent connection. And the TRX 3.3 was set so rich from the factory it immediately quenched itself when I let go of the ez start button. Kept spraying fuel out the exhaust and filling up the muffler. Runs perfectly now, thankfully.

@@jameswisecarver yeah 15t is probably the best way to go. I run 3S and there’s a lot of wheel spin. The 15t would definitely slow that wheel spin down a little.
